KISHTWAR, May 28: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, along with a team of District and Sectoral Officers, organized a public grievance redressal camp at Marwari, Panchayat Karool B in Block Drabshalla.

The camp provided a platform for the local community, including PRIs (Panchayati Raj Institutions), to express their concerns and present their demands related to infrastructure upgrades and improvement of public services.
The camp commenced with the Deputy Commissioner attentively listening to the grievances and demands raised by the participants.
Recognizing the importance of addressing demands in a timely manner, the Deputy Commissioner assured the people that their genuine concerns would be addressed within a specified timeframe.
To facilitate this process, necessary instructions were issued to the respective departments for the redressal of grievances.
Prior to the camp, the Deputy Commissioner, along with officers from the Public Works Department (PWD), conducted an inspection of the Marwari road. The purpose was to assess any obstacles that might be hindering the progress of road construction. Based on the challenges identified, the Tehsildar Kishtwar was directed to explore alternative routes and initiate the land acquisition process required for the completion of the road.

Recognizing the need for improvement, Dr. Devansh Yadav instructed the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) to undertake the construction of a protection wall and repairs of toilets under RDD schemes. The concerned Tehsildar was also directed to take necessary steps to repair the access route to the school.
Continuing the inspection, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, accompanied by district and sectoral officers, evaluated the progress of various developmental works across different panchayats. At Panchayat Drab, specific instructions were given for the development of a Passenger Shed under the 14th Finance Commission (14FC).
