UDHAMPUR, June 1: The District Level Task Force Committee on J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) has approved 44 cases seeking loan assistance under the scheme at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Sachin Kumar Vaishya.
A total of 55 applications were presented before the DLTFC, out of which 44 were approved for sponsorship to banks after careful scrutiny of documents and interactions with the applicants. Ten applicants were absent, and one application was rejected.
The Deputy Commissioner encouraged unemployed youth to take advantage of flagship schemes and programs, enabling them to earn a livelihood and live with dignity and honor.
