| GDC Jourian celebrates World Environment Day with student participation | | |

JAMMU, June 5: NSS unit of Govt. Degree College Jourian organized a slogan writing and reel making event on the occasion of World Environment Day. This programme was conducted in collaboration with IQAC, Activity and Cultural affairs committee and Eco and Health club under the banner G20, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Mission Life, Swachhta hi sewa. A large number of students participated in the programme by writing the slogans and by making reels. Principal of the college Dr Anuradha Pandoh stressed upon the importance of environment. She further said that it is the need of the hour to save our environment and asked the students to spread this message to save environment. Whole programme was conducted under the supervision of Programme Officer Dr Vandana Rajput and Dr Rimjhim Gupta (Convener Activities and Cultural Affairs committee. |
