Jammu, Jan 19: The inhabitants of Talab Tillo today staged a strong protest at Main Chowk against non-withdrawal of PSA against Swami Dinesh Bharti Ji Maharaj. The agitating public was led by Sanjay Baru State General Secretary Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). The protesting public raised slogans against the State Government for its failure to apply healing-touch policy in Jammu as is exemplified by continued witch hunt of Swami Bharti Ji. The agitators burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister in protest against his discrimination in as much as having set free fifteen anti-national militants in valley on his assuming Chief ministership but for Jammu and its nationalist public no such concession has been forthcoming.
Master Sham Lal Sharma, widely respected and revered resident of Talab Tillo, while addressing the public, said that in case PSA case is not withdrawn against Bharti Ji, the public shall resort to more strong protests and agitation. |
