| Kishtwar police conducted searches at house of active Hizb militant carried 10 lakh bounty | | |

Jammu, June 10: Taking tough stand against the Pakistan sponsored terrorist, after conducting searches at the residence of local militants operating from PoK/Pakistan,Kishtwar Police including SOG today carried out searches in the house of Muddassir Ahmed, active terrorist of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) who had carried a cash reward of Rs. 10 lakh bounty on his head. Muddasir had reportedly been ill from some time and is receiving treatment through some OGWs. SSP Kishtwar Sh. Khalil Ahmad Poswal inform that after obtaining house search warrant from NIA court Jammu in case FIR No 01/2022 U/Sec. 13/18/19/20/39/UAPA, 7/25 I.A act, 4/5 Explosive Substance Act registered at PS Dachhan, search was carried out in the residential house of active terrorist of HM outfit namely Muddasir Ahmed S/o Tariq Hussain Gainoo R/o Tander Dachhan. During the course of search, the evidences seized shall be investigated so as to subject the accused persons to judicial determination for his involvement in anti-national activities and perpetuation of terrorism. He said that 5 FIRs including under UAPA stands registered against Muddasir at various police stations in Kishtwar District. SSP Kishtwar further disclosed that all the supporter/associates of terrorists whose are found involved during investigation shall also be prosecuted.
He was a part of the group that was involved in killing of Parihar brothers and RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma and was active in the area along with Jahinger Saroori and Raiz Ahmed — the Trio carried reward of 30 lakhs for any information that lead to their arrest or their neutralisation. |
