| GCW Gandhi Nagar organizes seminar cum awareness camp | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 12: The Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt. College for Women Gandhinagar Jammu organized a seminar cum awareness camp on banking products/schemes and digital tools on 12th June 2023. The event welcomed the team from J&K Bank Gandhinagar, including Anil Sharma (Branch Head), Shruti Srikul (Retail Incharge), Anuradha (Savings Incharge), Pranav (Financial Services), and Surinder Kumar (Financial Inclusion Dept.).
Prof. Minu Mahajan, the principal of the college, addressed the participants, encouraging them to make use of mobile banking, e-banking, and other digital services offered by the bank. She emphasized that the college's Career Counselling Cell has provided an opportunity at their doorstep to overcome the lack of guidance.
During the seminar, Anil Kumar, the branch head, provided detailed information about different schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and Accidental Insurance. Shruti discussed the do's and don'ts of banking, stressing the importance of not sharing OTPs or opening any suspicious links.
Anuradha Sharma, the Incharge of Savings, shared minute details about savings and other deposits in the bank, answering students' queries. Pranav from J&K Bank Financial Services discussed Mutual Funds and D-Mat Accounts, urging students to visit any branch of J&K Bank for assistance and banking information.
The proceedings of the program were conducted by Prof. Suman Bala and concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Malti Rajput. |
