APS Dhar Road organizes summer camp

JAMMU, June 12: APS Dhar Road successfully organized an engaging and enriching Summer Camp and Vocational Courses from June 2nd to June 12th, 2023. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of classes 1 to 5 and classes 6 to 8, who eagerly immersed themselves in a diverse range of activities, fostering their personal growth and skill development.
Students of classes 1 to 5 embarked on a thrilling journey of creativity and exploration through various activities such as crafts, music, fun games, dance, karate, fun with science, badminton, football, and speedball. These activities not only provided an opportunity for students to showcase their talents but also encouraged team spirit and healthy competition.
In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, classes 6 to 8 participated in vocational courses designed to equip them with practical skills. These courses included electronics, gardening, master chef, pottery, coding, artificial intelligence, beauty, and health and wellness. By introducing these skill-based subjects, APS Dhar Road aims to empower students and prepare them for the ever-evolving demands of the modern world.
A special highlight of the summer camp was the visit by Divya Khanna, Chairperson of FWO 611(I) Bde, whose presence added a significant boost to the students' motivation. Khanna interacted with the students, observing their activities and appreciating their efforts. Her encouraging words inspired the students to strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
Throughout the summer camp, students experienced a joyful and stimulating environment, creating lasting memories with their friends and teachers. The holistic development of each student was at the core of the camp's objectives, and it was heartwarming to witness their personal growth, confidence, and camaraderie.
The summer camp and vocational courses concluded with a motivating speech by Dr. Jyoti Bedyal. Dr. Bedyal emphasized the importance of embracing new skills, exploring one's potential, and seizing opportunities for growth.
