BARAMULLA, June 14: As part of the celebrations marking nine years of the BJP Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a large public rally was held in Baramulla. The event drew a massive crowd, and Ashok Koul, BJP General Secretary Organisation, presented a report highlighting the government's welfare programs. He criticized the Congress and its allies in J&K for hindering the future of the youth, while praising Prime Minister Modi for providing them with a secure future.
Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Minister of State and Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, criticized the opposition for their narrow-mindedness in failing to acknowledge the BJP Government's significant contributions. She praised Modi for transforming J&K and addressing issues like drug abuse and terrorism. Dr. Andrabi highlighted the unprecedented development happening in the Union Territory, which the opposition fails to recognize due to their negative mindset.
Ghulam Ali Khatana, Member of Parliament, mentioned that people from all communities support Prime Minister Modi's comprehensive programs. Former Minister Sunil Sharma expressed gratitude to the people of North Kashmir for their support to the BJP. After the rally, Dr. Andrabi held a press conference where she responded to media questions. She expressed surprise at ex-Chief Ministers who claim that everything is in shambles in J&K. Dr. Andrabi emphasized that the people of J&K have witnessed positive outcomes since the removal of those advocating violence and separatism from the political scene. She highlighted how their rhetoric had adversely affected families for decades, but now their sentiments find fewer supporters. |
