Reasi Police successfully locates 5 missing persons

REASI, June 20: Reasi Police recently accomplished the heartening task of reuniting five missing individuals with their families. The first case involved Mohd Hanief, son of Akbar Ali, who reported his daughter missing from their residence in Channa, tehsil Chassana, Reasi. A missing report was filed, and with diligent investigation and assistance from family, relatives, and friends, the missing girl was traced to Bhatindi, Jammu. Following necessary legal procedures, the missing report was closed, and she was joyfully reunited with her family.
In a separate incident, the police team from District Reasi successfully located Nazma Bibi, wife of Shoket Ali and daughter of Khan Mohd., who had been reported missing via DDR No. 08 on 31/05/2023. Through dedicated efforts, the missing girl was found, and after completing all required formalities, she was safely returned to her family.
Another case involved Kulwant Singh, son of Ram Das, from Bhagtha, Tehsil Katra, who reported the disappearance of his two children, Sumeet Kumar and Raghbir Singh. The children, both aged 12 years and neighbors and friends, had gone missing on 14/06/2023. The police registered an FIR and initiated an investigation. Through technical evidence and human intelligence networks, the children were eventually traced near the Haryana-UP border in Yamunanagar district. After completing legal procedures, the children were reunited with their family.
Lastly, Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Abdul Rashid, from Jij Kadeen, Tehsil Thakrakote, District Reasi, lodged a complaint regarding the disappearance of his wife, Ruksana Kousar. The police promptly filed a missing report and launched an investigation. Through diligent efforts, the missing woman was located in Kashmir. Once all legal formalities were completed, she was handed over to her legal heirs.
The people of District Reasi, especially the concerned families, expressed their gratitude for the swift response and dedicated efforts of Reasi Police in successfully locating the missing individuals and reuniting them with their loved ones. The timely resolution of these cases reflects the commitment and efficiency of the police force in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
