GDC RS Pura celebrates International Yoga Day

JAMMU, June 20: As part of the week-long activities dedicated to commemorating International Yoga Day 2023, the NSS unit of Govt. Degree College in R.S. Pura organized an online yoga practice event under the guidance of the esteemed Principal, Prof. Rajni Bhagat, and the supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer. The event, titled "Yoga at Home, Yoga with Family," aimed to encourage students and their family members to engage in various yoga asanas within the comfort of their homes.
Participants enthusiastically practiced a range of yoga poses, including Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Vrikshasana (Tree Pose), Dhanurasana (Bow Pose), Shavasana (Corpse Pose), Uttanasana (Forward Fold), and more. The event's theme emphasized the importance of staying motivated while at home and adopting a healthy lifestyle through exercise and yoga.
