SSPs Traffic from all traffic units were instructed to provide detailed traffic arrangements for their respective jurisdictions, including night duty shifts, to ensure the successful and organized conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. The DIG Traffic Jammu also directed the SSP Traffic City Jammu to ensure that traffic police personnel are deployed at the base camp well in advance of the yatra convoys, and they remain on duty until late evening. Shift duty may be implemented if necessary to ensure the alertness and active presence of the traffic personnel.
