JAMMU, June 23: The summer camp held at Sunrise Public School, a unit of Sunrise Educational Trust located in Channi Himmat, Jammu, commenced on June 7th, 2023 (Wednesday) and concluded on June 21st, 2023 (Wednesday). This camp provided not only a platform for enjoyment but also an opportunity for children to learn valuable life lessons. It focused on enhancing their physical, mental, and social abilities while fostering self-dependence and self-confidence.
The camp offered a wide range of activities, including coloring, arts and crafts, paper origami, singing, dancing, movie time, fireless cooking, yoga meditation, and aerobics. Over 40 enthusiastic students actively participated in these engaging sessions. Singing lessons were conducted by Dr. Himja Mengi, while puppet making was taught by Vijay Puri. Throughout the camp, students were provided with refreshments, and their birthdays were joyfully celebrated.
The event was graced by the presence of Rajesh Sharma, Trustee of Sunrise Educational Trust, along with Divya Kesar, Asha Rani, Sonia Kour, Zuberia, Akash, and Bal Krishan. The dedicated staff members played a crucial role in organizing and executing the summer camp.
