| Peerzada approves 57 promotions in education Deptt | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU JANUARY 21- Continuing with the concatenation of infusing fresh impetus into the education department, the Education Minister Peerzada Sayed today gave nod to the promotion of 157 Senior Lecturers and Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) as Principals, Higher Secondary schools and promotion of 41 Headmasters as ZEOs.
“The promotions will strengthen the educational system and help in bringing substantial and much needed improvement in the academic architecture of the state. We hope people in general and student community in particular will extend every sort of cooperation to the Government to strengthen the educational system and help in improving the society”, Peerzada said.
Meanwhile, following the recommendation from Public Service Commission, the Minister gave approval to the appointment of 82 candidates as 10+2 lecturers in Economics. The orders to this effect were issued today.
The Secretary School Education Mr. G. A. Peer said that very soon more promotions and placements in the Department would be issued.
