| GDC Ramnagar conducts SVEEP awareness programme | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 27: SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) Cell of Govt. Degree College Ramnagar, as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, organized an awareness programme today on the duties and responsibilities of voters. The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Rashmi Gupta, a faculty member in Physics, who provided an overview of the awareness programme. The programme was held under the guidance of Dr. Bhavnaish Chand, the Principal of GDC Ramnagar.
Dr. Om Prakash, the Convenor of the SVEEP cell, addressed the students, informing them about their voting rights and encouraging them to register. He emphasized the importance of the election process and briefed the students on their duties and responsibilities as voters. He also highlighted the need to educate and guide the youth about the voting process.
The students responded positively to the programme, with a large number of participants attending the event. The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Mohd. Riaz, the Head of the Urdu Department.
