JAMMU, June 27: The IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) and Literary Club of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce organized an interactive session titled "Meet the Writer" featuring Sahaj Sabharwal, a young local writer and author from Jammu. The event was held under the patronage of Principal Dr. Surinder Kumar.
During the session, Sahaj Sabharwal, a budding writer pursuing Aeronautical Engineering and author of three self-published books, shared his journey and experiences in writing and publishing. He motivated the students to have confidence, persevere through failures, and stay focused on their goals. The books written by Sahaj Sabharwal were displayed, generating keen interest among the students.
The interactive session witnessed active participation from students and faculty members of the college, with more than 80 students attending the event. The coordination and conduct of the entire event were overseen by Dr. Monika Malhotra, Coordinator of IQAC and Convener of the Literary Club, and Prof. Apfan Arif, Head of the Urdu Department.
Faculty members including Prof. Barbara Koul, Prof. Savita Jamwal, Prof. Shafkat Jahangir, Dr. Sandhya Bhardwaj, Dr. Parveen Singh, Prof. Ashu Manhas, Prof. Reeta Menia, Dr. Nazia Rasool, Prof. Deepshikha Sharma, Prof. Harpreet Kour, Prof. Jagmeet, Prof. Shreya Sharma, Prof. Deepak Pathania, and Prof. Rajni Bala were present at the event.
The session, conducted by Prof. Apfan Arif, concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Monika Malhotra. |
