| Police lathi charge on students condemned | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 21- The agitating students of MAM Degree College demanding open choice facility were lathicharged by heavy police force before being dispersed inside college campus.
Police lobbed few teargas shells to disperse the students assembled here in large number to protest against the long delay in deciding their fate.
However, on its part the University authorities have set up a high level committee to be headed by Dean Academic Affairs Prof BPS Sehgal to prepare a comprehensive report on how to diffuse the situation emerging out of daily protests.
The student leaders have condemned brutal use of police force against the innocent students fighting for justice.
