JKAACL organizes soulful Bhajan Sandhya at Baba Sidh Goria Temple

KATHUA, June 29: The sub-office of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) in Kathua organized a mesmerizing "Bhajan Sandhya" at Baba Sidh Goria Temple in Vijaypur. The event witnessed a large gathering of devotees and pilgrims who were enthralled by the soulful performances. Keshav Dutt, Chairman of District Development Council Samba, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Mahant Bhola Nath Baba was the guest of honor. The program was held under the guidance of Secretary JKAACL, Bharat Singh, who directed the sub-office to organize such events at historical sites. During the event, Keshav Dutt appreciated the efforts of JKAACL in bringing the Bhajan Sandhya to Baba Sidh Goria pilgrimage. He expressed his gratitude and requested more such events in the future. Sanjeev Gupta, in-charge of the JKAACL sub-office in Kathua, emphasized the importance of showcasing the region's culture at sacred places. He assured the audience that he would propose organizing similar programs at other major shrines in District Kathua and Samba. He also thanked the working committee of Baba Sidh Goria Temple for their support. The evening began with lively performances by Ram Dayal and Party, followed by Akshay Kumar and Party, Bodhraj and Party, and Rampal and Party. The event concluded with a soul-stirring performance by Ajit Pal and Party, leaving the audience mesmerized. The program was skillfully conducted by Anita Choudhary. Krishan Kumar, a local resident, commended the efforts of JKAACL for bringing cultural events to the religious setting. He expressed his admiration for the talented artists and requested more such events at Baba Sidh Goria Temple in the future.
