Central Sanskrit University to host free Yoga, meditation, Ayurveda Health Camp

Jammu, July 1: Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, in collaboration with Jammu Institute of Ayurveda & Research, will be organizing a 10-day Prakriti Yoga Meditation Ayurvedic Treatment Health Camp from July 4 to July 14. The camp, held at the university's Yoga Center, aims to promote the significance of 'Yoga and Pranayama' for holistic healing and achieving overall balance and harmony in the body. Participants will receive valuable knowledge about Ayurveda treatment, Yogasana, Pranayama, and Meditation for comprehensive health.
Campus Director Prof. Madan Mohan Jha shared that Dr. Ravi Kant Tiwari, In-charge of the Yoga Center, will conduct two-hour Yoga and Pranayama sessions each morning for the duration of the camp.
These sessions will teach various asanas and pranayama techniques to enhance the participants' health and well-being. Prof. Jha emphasized the global recognition of Yogasana and Pranayama as practices that generate positive, pure, and creative energy.
He highlighted the importance of daily meditation, yoga, and pranayama for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, and expressed that the camp will raise health awareness and provide information on Ayurvedic home remedies for common ailments.
In addition to the Yoga Camp, an 'Ayurvedic Health Checkup Camp' will be organized to promote traditional Ayurvedic treatment methods and create awareness about their effectiveness for overall health and wellness.
Registered patients will receive free consultation and diagnosis from the expert medical team of Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research.
The camp will offer specialized treatment for various conditions, including cervical issues, obesity, gas, constipation, insomnia, back pain, knee pain, diabetes, and blood pressure. Ayurvedic medicines and products will also be available to the patients.
