Qureshi had called for pursuing an approach of "cooperative engagement" to deal with any further questions that may arise with regard to the Mumbai incident. The Pakistani foreign minister had also said, "If any individual or entity linked to Pakistan is found involved in the Mumbai attacks, the government will take action against them according to the country's law."
