KISHTWAR, July 3: To provide a firsthand exposure and practical knowledge in homestay management, the SBI RSETI Kishtwar, in collaboration with the District Administration, organized a field visit for the trainees of the Home stay Course Batch, here today.
The Home stay Course for 35 youth is being conducted under the SANKALP Scheme.
The initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance among the trainees in the tourism sector.
The field trip was personally supervised by LDM Kishtwar, Pankaj Bhadani, along with the faculty of SBI RSETI.
The trainees were taken to the picturesque village of Chingam, Kishtwar, where a local entrepreneur has successfully established a homestay venture.
During the field visit, the trainees had the opportunity to interact with the entrepreneur, who graciously shared his valuable experiences.
The entrepreneur highlighted the challenges he faced and emphasized the importance of perseverance and integrity.
Listing different challenges one faces along the way, he stressed the need to maintain patience and honesty in order to overcome obstacles.
The entrepreneur's inspirational journey left a lasting impact on the trainees, instilling in them a sense of self-confidence and motivation to become self-dependent.
The field visit proved to be an enriching experience for the trainees by providing them with firsthand exposure to a successful homestay establishment and allowing them to witness the practical application of the concepts they have been learning during the training program.
