| Flats housing offices raided; staff harassed | | |
Srinagar, September 19: Sleuths of police here on Tuesday raided government flats housing office of a loval news agency KNS and some other offices in the afternoon. The sleuths allegedly harassed the staffers during the raid without citing any reasons. City police chief Afhad-ul- Mujtaba, however, said "we have not sent any police party to conduct the raids on Government owned flats of Estates Department at Magarmal Bagh Srinagar". He assured to probe the matter and promised punishment to those involved in conducting the raids.
