| HC quashes PSA on three | | |
Srinagar, September 19: The State High court quashed Public Safety Act in favour of three detunes Manzoor Ahmed Lone S/o Gul MOhd Lone R/O Gawanwar Kulgam (HCP No:28/05), Farooq Ahmed Sofi and Ab Hameed Dar (HPC No:14/06) and ordered their release. The cases of the accused came up for hearing before the court of Justice Nisar Ahmed Kakroo during which Advocate Mir Shafqat Hussain, Advocate G N Shaheen and Advocate Mohd Ashraf appeared on behalf of the appellants. The court quashed PSA for the lack of evidence and ordered their release. |
