| Charak Congress leader in LC, Ashok expelled | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 22: The Congress party has nominated Gulchain Singh Charak as leader of its legislature party in the Upper House of the legislature.
As per an information bulletin of Legislative Council, Civil Secretariat, the president Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz has nominated MLC, Gulchain Singh Charak as the leader of the Congress Legislature party in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council.
Meanwhile, the leader of the Legislature Party of Indian National Congress, Gulchain Singh Charak in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislature Council in exercise of the power conferred upon him under paragraph 6 of the Seventh Schedule of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir on grounds of defection has disqualified Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma from the membership of the Legislative Council.
