17 gamblers arrested, Rs 62,890 recovered by Domana police

Jammu, July 15: The police teams of District Jammu accomplished a significant success by apprehending 17 gamblers and recovering Rs 62,890 in stake money within the jurisdiction of PS Domana.
Led by SDPO Domana Vishal Shoor, the police team from PS Domana, along with SHO PS Domana Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal and ASI Rattan Lal, received information about gambling activities taking place in an open field at Muthi, Jammu. Acting swiftly, the police team conducted a raid at the suspected location and apprehended 17 individuals engaged in gambling. They also seized Rs 62,890 in stake money and a deck of playing cards.
A case has been registered under the Gambling Act at PS Domana, and the accused have been arrested. The individuals arrested have been identified as:

5. Lalu Rathore
6. Neelamber Kewait
7. Shiv Narela
8. Dilbagh Singh

Further investigation into the case is currently underway. The police are committed to curbing illegal gambling activities and promoting a safe and lawful society.
