| JU NSS volunteers excel at national level | | 10 volunteers selected as 'Campus Ambassadors for Peace’ by YFWP | | Early Times Report Jammu Jan 23- The NSS volunteers from the colleges of University of Jammu have brought laurels to the University as ten volunteers were selected as 'Campus Ambassadors for Peace' by the International president of the Youth Federation for World Peace at the national integration camps recently. The selected volunteers from the Colleges of the University of Jammu were part of three National Integration Camps (NIC) held in Banaras Hindu University, Banaras, Jamia Millia, Delhi and Khalsa College, Anandpur Sahib, Punjab recenlty. They returned to Jammu today after participating in these camps. The volunteers excelled in different activities like skit competition. Sandeep Bhat was adjudged best volunteer in culture activities, Keshav Kumar in Blood donation, Rakesh Kumar in Debate ( IInd prize), Zubair in Songs, Rahul Kumar in Declamation -IIIrd prize, IIIrd prize in group song. Rahul Kumar won Rs. 1000 for best comparing in discussions and debating competitions. The volunteers showcased the culture of Jammu and Kashmir to the volunteers from the outside the state.
