| SMVDU faculty delivers lecture in Muscat | | |
JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 19- A senior faculty of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Professor N. D. Mathur, Dean, College of Management has delivered a keynote address on Emerging issues in Banking Industry at an “International conference on service Industry-Challenges & opportunities” at Walljat College of Applied Sciences, Muscat.
On the initiative of Vice Chancellor, Dr N K Bansal, the SMVDU has embarked on an ambitious programme of exposing its faculty and students on larger academic canvass.
The guest lecture by Prof Mathur was organized in academic partnership with Birla Institute of Technology MESRA. In his keynote address Prof. Mathur dealt with policy initiatives taken by Govt. of India during financial sector reforms, visible trends, emerging issues and challenges ahead in banking industry. Besides India, the conference was attended by participants from Pakistan, Ethiopia, USA, Italy, Saudi Arabia etc.
Prof. Mathur has immensely contributed to the field of economics, commerce and management by publishing research papers in journals of repute and delivering lectures at various academic institutions in the country. |
