DC visits Banihal, reviews development works, healthcare facilities at SDH

RAMBAN, July 22: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, today conducted a tour of Sub-Division Banihal, to take stock of progress on developmental projects and implementation of beneficiary oriented schemes, besides reviewed healthcare facilities being extended to patients at Sub District Hospital Banihal.
Tehsildar Banihal, Imtiyaz Ahmed, BMO, Dr. Sayed Ismail and other officers were also present on the occasion.
During the visit to SDH Banihal, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the patients and attendants and enquired about the facilities being extended to them by the hospital. He directed the BMO to effectively implement the duty roster of doctors and paramedical staff, and display the same along the stock position of medicines and other available facilities on the Notice Board.
The DC reviewed the sanitation condition, stock position of medicines and working of diagnostic facilities. He directed the BMO to ensure cleanliness of the hospital for the convenience of patients. He appreciated the hospital administration for making special efforts to extend quality healthcare.
He also inspected PMJAY registration counter and directed the BMO and CSC team for registering maximum number of people under PM-JAY-SEHAT scheme. He directed the BMO to sensitize the patients and their attendants besides ensure that all the patients shall avail the benefit of the flagship health insurance scheme.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Lamber Langer site and reviewed the facilities being provided to the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatries there.
Later, the DC also inspected National highway four laning construction works and directed the NHAI and construction companies to maintain the Highway and station adequate machinery at all vulnerable places to clear the blockades without any delay.
