| BDO Gurez suspended | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU JAN 23: Following a complaint of dereliction of duties, the Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, Ali Mohammad Sagar today ordered suspension of the Block Development Officer Gurez.
Sagar ordered the immediate suspension of the concerned BDO after obtaining the factual report from the DC Bandipora, where in it was found that the concerned officer has remained absent from duty for last 30 days, the Engineering staff of the block was also placed under suspension.
The Minister further directed the Secretary Rural Development, to initiate an enquiry against the earring officials. He said that negligence and laxity on the part of employees was intolerable, adding that they would have to mend themselves and be accountable towards people.
