Art of Living launches India meditates campaign with support from Indian Ministry of Culture

JAMMU, July 25: The Art of Living, in collaboration with the Indian Ministry of Culture's Har Ghar Dhyan initiative, has introduced the India Meditates campaign from July 24 to 31, 2023. The campaign aims to empower people of all ages and backgrounds with meditation and self-awareness tools, promoting holistic well-being. Endorsed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the initiative will culminate on Independence Day, 15th August 2023, symbolizing a significant milestone in the nation's journey towards overall well-being. As part of the India Meditates series, free online meditation sessions are offered in eight time slots throughout the day: 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM. Expert facilitators from The Art of Living will conduct these live online sessions.
To participate in the campaign, individuals can register on the website indiameditates.org and join a WhatsApp group, where they will receive live session links. Additionally, participants will be awarded an e-certificate accredited by The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and The Art of Living.
The response to the campaign has been overwhelming, with over 2 lakh Indians already registering to be part of it.
In celebration of 75 years of independence, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Ministry of Culture has partnered with The Art of Living to educate and empower Indians through meditation. The project was inaugurated on 26th October 2022 at The Art of Living's international headquarters in Bangalore by the renowned humanitarian and spiritual master Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, in the presence of former Chief Minister of Karnataka Sh. Basavaraj Bommai and a gathering of 20 thousand people.
Since its launch, the Har Ghar Dhyan initiative has garnered immense response across the nation, with over a million participants attending onsite programs in recent months.
