Peerzada for chennalizing the hidden talent in right perspective

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 19 – Minister for Education, Hajj and Auqaf Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed today underscored the need to channalize the creative talent of our students for the progress and development of the state.
This, he said after the inauguration of provincial level science exhibition 2006 at S. P. Higher Secondary School Srinagar. The theme of the exhibition was “Science and Technology for rural development”.
Impressed by the creativity of students particularly the students from government schools, Peerzada said that models exhibited by students of various schools, with regard to rural development, shows their creativeness for visualizing their inherent ideas for the development of rural economy. He said it is a fact that our students do not have such facilities, but still they evince their dedication, commitment and creativeness towards their field, is our success. He said that it is our duty to provide them best academic and science friendly environment to visualize their hidden ideas in practical shape. He said that present government has given top priority to this sector to make it at the par with national level.
Peerzada said that education department has abundant funds for building the infrastructure base in the state. He asked the students to work with same dedication and commitment with their field and government is at their back to provide every sort of facility to build the education standard in the state.
On the occasion Secretary School Education, Mr. Khazir Mohammad Wani interacted with the students of various school who exhibited their model and encouraged them for their creativeness. He asked them to continue this zeal with same integrity and dedication, which will bring laurels in their future.
Giving the detail of the exhibition, Director School Education Kashmir Mr. Mohammad Rafi said that 52 schools participated in this exhibition with 52 models one each every school of eight districts of Kashmir province. He said these schools were selected after district level competition for this exhibition. He said out of these 52 models 15 best models would be selected for 33 Jawaharlal Nehru national Science Exhibition, New Delhi, which is held on the birthday of this great leader of the country.
