CBC hosts 3-day Multi-Media Exhibition at Gulabgarh amid Annual Machail Yatra 2023

KISHTWAR, July 26: The Central Bureau for Communication, Government of India organised an informative Multimedia Exhibition at Gulabgarh mini stadium Ground Paddar, shedding light on the significant milestones achieved during the last 9 years, along with the Seva Susashan and Garib Kalyan initiatives, Mission liFE, and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) program amid Machail Yatra 2023. The event was inaugurated by SDM, Arun Kumar Badyal in the presence of DDC member Paddar, Hari Krishan Chauhan and I/C Machail Mata Yatra Cell Lovemeet Kotwal. The exhibition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), ASHAs, prominent personalities, local Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), and staff members from various departments and education institutions along with common masses. The program commenced with a welcome address by the Incharge CBC, Doda Circle, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. Different media engagement programs were conducted, offering insightful presentations on the central and Union Territory governments' rolled-out schemes.
The experts from different departments passionately shared the information and achievements with the attendees.
The occasion was made vibrant with cultural performances by talented artists from Jammu, who mesmerized the audience with their artistic presentations. A special message on the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan was also conveyed through these cultural performances.
The Participants were shown an exclusive video on the glorious history of Paddar, the revered Machail Mata pilgrimage, and the triumphant trek of General Zorawar Singh.
An interactive open quiz competition added excitement to the event, encouraging participants to showcase their knowledge. The winners were rewarded with gifts in recognition of their correct answers.
The stalls set up by the different departments, showcased agriculture and local products as well as health and nutrition awareness initiatives, generating interest and enthusiasm among the visitors.
