| 40 grams of heroin recovered by Bagh-e-bahu police, 3 peddlers arrested | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 27: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 40 grams of heroin from three accused in the areas under the jurisdiction of PS Bagh e Bahu.
A police team of PS Bagh e Bahu led by SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari assisted by SHO PS Bagh e Bahu Inspr Arti Thakur while on naka duty at bravo 3 naka rounded up three suspected person coming in a vehicle bearing Registration No. JK14B 5955. On search, 40 grams of heroin was recovered from them.
In this regard case FIR No. 62/2023 U/S 8/21/22 /29 NDPS Act at PS Bagh e Bahu and accused got arrested. The accused arrested were later identified as:
01)Ajaz Ahmed @KaKa s/o Ghulam Ali R/o Ragoora Tehsil & district Jammu
(02) Rafiq Ahmed S/O Farooq Ahmed R/O Ragoora Tehsil & district Jammu
(03) Mashooq Ali S/O Allahlok R/O Ragoora Tehsil & district Jammu
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
