| Detention warrant of one notorious criminal executed by Satwari police | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 27: An information was received at PS Satwari regarding one notorious criminal namely Simranjot Singh S/o Late Daljeet Singh R/o Chatha Pind who was involved in multiple criminal cases. On this special police teams of PS Satwari led by SDPO South Sachit Sharma assisted by SHO PS Satwari Inspr Sumeet Sharma raided at the suspected location and rounded up the accused person.
It is pertinent to mention that accused is a Hard-Core Criminal of desperate character, habitual of indulging in acts of violence such as attempt to Murder, Extortion, Snatching, Stabbing, Burglary, Arson and keeping/ possessing illegal arms etc. Details of FIRs are as under:-

(4) Case FIR No. 223/2016 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS ACT 3/25/4/25 A.Act P/S Satwari
(5) Case FIR NO. 89/2018 U/S 341/323 RPC 4/25 A-Act P/S Satwari
(6) Case FIR NO. 89/2022 U/S 307/326/120-B/201 IPC and 4/25 A-Act P/S Poonch
(7) Case FIR NO. 79/2022 U/S 436/452/380/147/427 IPC and 4/25 A-Act P/S Gangyal
(8) Case FIR NO. 129/2023 U/S 307/341/147 IPC and 4/25 A-Act P/S Satwari
Moreover accused was also involved in illicit drug peddling and threatening people with weapons thus disturbing peace among the people.
A warrant of arrest was issued against the said accused vide order no. 12 of 2023 dated 25.07.2023 which was received in this Police Station Satwari on 26.07.2023 through DPO Jammu vide letter No. CRB/Dossier/2023/24/DPOJ dated 26.07.2023.
Finally warrant of the accused has been executed under provision of section 8 (1) (a) of J&K Public safety Act, 1978 and said accused has been lodged in Central Jail Kot Balwal Jammu. |
