Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, July 30: Live For Others - Being Helpful Foundation (LFO-BHF), a non-governmental and non-profit organization, demonstrated its commitment to serving humanity by organizing a Distribution Camp on the eve of Youm-E-Ashoora. The camp, themed "Quench the thirst and remember the thirst of Imam Hussain A.S," was held at Alamgari Bazar Srinagar. Mourners participating in the Muharam procession were provided with essential items such as fruits, Rooh-Afaza water, mini water bottles, and biscuits.
The noble initiative was made possible through the generous sponsorship of PARSA'S, ADORATION HOLIDAYS, TABISH COLLECTION, with the support of AL BAIK and THE SEEKH NATION. LFO-BHF has always been at the forefront of positively impacting the world by organizing beneficial events and programs that serve the community.
Shah Aamir Muzaffar, Project Coordinator for Kashmir Province, stressed the importance of strengthening brotherhood within the Muslim ummah and distancing oneself from sectarian or communal violence. Afreen Barket, President of LFO-BHF for Kashmir Province, also emphasized the need for unity and shed light on the life and sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS).
Following the successful distribution drive, the LFO-BHF Kashmir team took the initiative to conduct a cleanliness drive at Alamgari Bazar Srinagar. The team collected the trash that was generated during the processions, contributing to the cleanliness of the entire area. The local community and administration expressed gratitude to the LFO-BHF Kashmir team for their commendable efforts in serving humanity.
Among the members present during the distribution camp were Urfee Yousuf, Maroofa Shah, Quyima Aslam, Rizwana Gulzar, Hafsa Arshid, Sahil Hassan, Sheikh Shahid, Haadi Hameed, Saqib Rehman, and many others who selflessly dedicated their time and energy to make the event successful.
