Jodhamal school triumphs in the Sahodaya Inter-School Swimming Competition

JAMMU, Aug 1: Team Jodhamal once again displayed their remarkable sporting prowess, emerging victorious in the highly competitive Sahodaya Inter-School Swimming Competition, organized by Shaurya International School. Sixteen prominent Schools from Jammu had participated in the Competition. Jodhamal Team's stellar performance led them to clinch the coveted overall first position.
The young swimmers from Jodhamal Public School showcased their dedication and talent in the pool, bagging a total of 26 medals in various categories. The outstanding haul included 6 Gold Medals, 14 Silver Medals, and 6 Bronze Medals, further ensuring the School's reputation for excellence in swimming.
The Jodhamal Team comprised of Angelina Bali, Prajna, Avni Athmea, Kaashvi, Adalia Narang, Trisha Jaggi, Vinay Barala, Vishal Barela, Kartikey Chaudhary, Kartavya, Priyam Jain, Aseed Kichloo, Prabmeet, Prabhdeep, Aditya, Lavanya, and Aryan, who displayed exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the Competition.
Behind every successful athlete, there is dedicated guidance and mentorship. Ms Pooja Basson (Head Coach), Rajan Sharma, Ms Malkeet Kour and Mr Romesh Chander, the esteemed mentors of the Jodhamal Team, played a crucial role in shaping and honing the skills of these young swimmers, enabling them to shine on the grand stage of the Competition.
Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee, Mrs Arati Kuthiala, Director and Girish Kumar, Principal extended hearty congratulations to the victorious team for their outstanding achievement. They praised their commitment to training, hard work, and teamwork, which brought glory not only to themselves but also to the entire school community.
The triumph in the Inter-School Sahodaya Swimming Competition once again underscores Jodhamal School's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel not only academically but also in various sports and co-curricular activities.
