Jammu Police reunites two missing persons with their families”

Jammu, Aug 1: Jammu Police successfully reunited two missing individuals with their families in the areas under the jurisdiction of PS Miran Sahib and PP Sarwal, Jammu.
In the first case, a written complaint was lodged at PS Miran Sahib by the legal heirs of Ramnik Singh, who went missing from his home in Makhanpur Gujjrian Simbal Morh, Miran Sahib Teh RS Pura, Distt Jammu. After registering a missing report, the police initiated an investigation. With dedicated efforts, a special police team of PS Miran Sahib, led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna and assisted by SHO PS Miran Sahib Inspr Bopinder Singh, successfully traced the missing person.
In the second case, a written complaint was filed at PP Sarwal by the legal heirs of a missing girl. A case (FIR No. 73/2023 U/s 363/109 IPC) was registered at PS Bakshi Nagar, and the investigation began.
Through meticulous efforts and the assistance of CCTV footages of the area, a special police team of PP Sarwal, led by SDPO West Vikram Singh and assisted by SHO PS Bakshi Nagar Inspr Rakesh Sharma, along with I/C PP Sarwal PSI Baljeet Singh Parihar, successfully traced the missing girl.
After locating both missing individuals, their families were informed, and the traced persons were handed over to their family members after completing all the legal formalities. Jammu Police’s commitment and dedication in resolving these cases ensured the safe return of the missing persons to their loved ones.
