Jammu, Jan 25: The Janta Dal Secular (JD-S) have demanded that the cut in atta, rice and sugar ordered by the government for Jammu division be revoked at once.
Addressing the party worker, JDS, Sr.vice president, Kulbir Singh said, that one fails to understand why there is discrimination between Jammu and Kashmir people, though being a citizen of ones state. He said Kashmiri people gets full quota of ration, why Jammu people are put to trouble, he asked.
Dhanraj Bargotra, state president JD-S also expressed his serious concern our the matter. He also said, that people of backward classes are also not given due share guaranteed by the law.
Among others present in the meeting were Mastnath Yogi, Bhagwati Sharan, Makhan lal, Haji Abdul Rahman and Ram Rattan. |
