| DC visits Panchayat Dera Baba, presides over public outreach programme | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, Aug 2: As part of weekly Block Diwas, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Babila Rakwal today presided over a public outreach programme at Panchayat Dera Baba.
During the tour, DC visited different spots and houses which were damaged during the recent rains and assured victims and the general public of every possible relief.
DC gave directions to the concerned departments on the spot for immediate restoration of roads and other protective measures so that the public may return to their normal life.
While highlighting the objective of Block Diwas, the DC said that the programme aims to listen to public demands and issues at their doorsteps for their redressal.
DC also interacted with the general public at Darbar in Dera Baba and listened to the grievances of the general public. Executive Engineer I&FC was directed to prepare a detailed project report so as to prevent any further damage to agricultural lands of the people in the area. Executive Engineer PMGSY/PWD were directed to clear Slide & debris from blocked drains.
The DC gave a patient hearing to all the demands and grievances and assured that all issues shall be taken with the concerned authorities for their timely redressal.
Assistant Commissioner Development Reasi, ACP Reasi, CEO Reasi, Chief Horticulture officer, Chief Animal Husbandry officer, CAO, XEN PWD, XEN JPDCL Reasi and other concerned officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner. |
