Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 5: Natrang is going to organize a new kind of theatre workshop aimed at giving participants an opportunity of life-time to reinvent themselves. This is going to be the first ever theatre workshop by Natrang where it has designed a new theatre module which has a lot to offer to the beginners and experienced artists as well. Exploring the therapeutic properties of theatre, this programme intends to provide a healing ambience to the participants where they can get relief from their stress, anxiety and inhibitions. Director Natrang, Balwant Thakur along with senior functionaries of Natrang Viz. Neeraj Kant, Anil Tickoo, Vikrant Sharma and Sumeet Sharma informed that in addition to students, working professionals (teachers, doctors, advocates, employees, etc.) can extract maximum benefit from this programme, who otherwise don't get enough stimulation time to explore their creative faculties because of busy schedule. In addition to inculcating artistic sensibilities, theatre, because of intrinsic nature, kindles different faculties in mind which strengthen the emotional and social intelligence and Natrang, through its substantial experience, futuristic approach and tested experimentations, offers this programme to the different sections of the society. The contents of the workshop have been designed by Padmashri Balwant Thakur, who has inculcated the crux of his international exposure for the benefit of Jammu people so that they may utilize it in their respective professions. As theatre is believed to be one of the most effective tools for the overall personality development, Thakur urged the youth and working professionals to avail this golden opportunity. This unique workshop will commence from 13th of August, 2023 at Natrang Studio, Tange Wali Gali, Kachi Chawni. Anyone who is above 16 years and can spare 90 minutes daily (evening) for a month is eligible to participate in this unique programme.
