| Employment Deptt organises awareness programme under Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav | | |

SAMBA, Aug 5: In the series of programs being organised under Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Meri Maati Mera Desh Campaign, a career guidance cum awareness program was organised by Directorate of Employment J&K through District Employment & Counselling Centre Samba.
Joint Director Employment Jammu, Dr. Khalid Hussain Malik inaugurated the program in which more than seventy unemployed registered youth participated.
The objective of the program was to initiate the registration process for enrolment of trainees for the three months free training course of Accounts Executive which is going to be shortly started in District Samba.
Joint Director Employment Jammu laid stress for the need for skill development of trainees for placement in private as well as government sector. Vehicles were also distributed by Joint Director Employment to the beneficiaries under MUMKIN scheme to encourage self employment among unemployed youth.
Assistant Director Employment Samba, Sulakshna Thakur presented the detailed overview of the schemes of the department and registration on the state employment portal http://jakemp.nic.in.
The candidates were motivated to enroll for the skill development course which is going to start in the month of August and 12.8.2023 is the last date for applying for this course.
Career Counselling Officer DECC Samba, Dushyant Singh presented the detailed overview of all the welfare schemes like MUMKIN , Tejeswini, Spurring Entrepreneurship etc being implemented by the Employment Department and motivated the youth to avail the benefit of these welfare schemes and become job provider instead of being job seeker. |
