DC Reasi reviews Independence Day arrangements

REASI, Aug 5: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal today reviewed the arrangements for Independence Day celebration, here at a meeting of concerned officers.
The DC directed the concerned departments to ensure all the arrangements related to security, traffic regulation, seating arrangements, full dress rehearsal, decoration, PAS, power and water supply, transport arrangements, sanitation, Medicare facilities, barricading etc. are put in place well in time.
The JPDCL and Jal Shakti Department was asked to ensure that power and water, including water tankers, were managed properly at the venue. The CMO was tasked to ensure adequate medical resources, including para-medical personnel and ambulances.
DC provided a detailed outline of the events and themes planned under the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign.
It was decided that the programs will be organized at each Panchayat and Block from 9th August to 15th August, encapsulating the spirit of the campaign.
As part of the program, memorial plaques will be placed at Amrit Sarovars and Panchayat Ghars to honor the National Heroes of the country who have sacrificed their lives for the cause of the nation.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to make necessary arrangements in advance and work with close coordination for smooth celebration of Independence Day, 2023.
ADDC Abdual Star, ACR Reasi, ACD Reasi, Chief Agriculture Officer, Xen’s of PWD and PHE department and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
