District Capex Budget reviewed in Reasi

REASI, Aug 5: District Development Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal on Saturday chaired a meeting of District and Sectoral officers of different departments here in the DC office complex.
The DDC reviewed progress of the ongoing works along with the status of new works with regards to preparation of estimates/tendering/allotment and execution under UT/DDC/BDC/PRI, Aspirational Block Development programs and Aspirational panchayat Development plan under capex Budget 2023-24.
The executing agencies apprised DDC Reasi that all the ongoing works are under completion and 50% of estimation has been done.
During the meeting it was informed that total no. of works under District Capex 2023-24, out of total 2599 new works 1744 has been put to tender and 251works have been started.
After taking the work wise review under all the components, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to expedite the tendering process followed by their execution and completion of the same.
DDC also review the works under the tribal affair departments and also directed the executive agency to start the estimation process of the new works for wich 50% funds released and complete the ongoing projects at the earliest under trible sector.
CPO Sunita Kanchan, CMO Reasi, Youth Service and NJ sports officer, XEN JPDCL, XEN PWD Katra, XEN PMGSY Reasi, XEN Rew, and other concerned officers were also present at the meeting.
