DC, SSP launch Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign in Sunderbani

RAJOURI, Aug 9: In a fervent display of patriotism and commitment to the nation, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri, Vikas Kundal and SSP Amrit Pal Singh, embarked on a visit to HS Tala Kangri and GHSS Bajabai in Sunderbani as part of the Meri Mati Mera Desh program.
The visit aimed to commemorate the sacrifices of the brave-hearts and promote a sense of pride and responsibility towards the motherland.
The event commenced with a symbolic flag hoisting ceremony, where the tricolor was unfurled amidst a backdrop of nationalistic fervor.
DC Rajouri, Vikas Kundal and SSP Amrit Pal Singh were joined by ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; SDPO Nowshera; Tehsildar Beripatan, and other dignitaries in this momentous occasion.
As a testament to commitment of district administration to environmental conservation, the officers kick started plantation drive by planting saplings symbolizing the growth and resilience of the nation.
The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri also interacted with the students, who showcased their creativity by preparing models on the theme of "Meri Mati Mera Desh." The officers commended the students for their innovative ideas and encouraged them to continue contributing to the progress and development of their homeland.
In an inspiring speech delivered at the event, the DC Rajouri emphasized the significance of the Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign and highlighted the valour and sacrifices of the brave soldiers and freedom fighters. He urged the students and the community at large to imbibe the spirit of patriotism and actively participate in initiatives that contribute to the betterment of the nation.
SSP Amrit Pal Singh reiterated the importance of fostering a sense of love, respect, and responsibility towards our motherland. He commended the efforts of the students in showcasing their dedication through the models and encouraged them to become responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.
The visit concluded with a renewed sense of national pride and unity, as the officials and students vowed to uphold the values of Meri Mati Mera Desh and work collectively towards the progress and prosperity of our great nation.
