Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 9: To mark the celebrations of “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav,” commemorating India’s journey towards 75 years of Independence, a collaborative initiative named “Har Ghar Dhyan” has been launched by the Ministry of Culture in partnership with the Art of Living. This initiative aims to create awareness about the importance of mental health and meditation in fostering a balanced and stress-free lifestyle.
Under the guidance of Hon’ble Mr. Js Tashi Rabstan, Executive Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority (JKLSA), the “Har Ghar Dhyan” Meditation Sessions were conducted in collaboration with the Art of Living across various districts in the Jammu province.
These meditation sessions were thoughtfully designed to promote mental well-being and provide tools for stress management.
They were conducted in districts including Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Kishtwar, Rajouri, and Udhampur. Participants included judicial officers, panel lawyers, members of the Bar Association, staff of DLSA, HCLSC, LADCs, and PLVs, all of whom eagerly embraced the opportunity to experience relaxation and mental rejuvenation.
Given the demanding nature of work in the legal sector, participants found solace in these sessions, allowing them to unwind and recharge after their rigorous court hours.
Trained Art of Living meditation coaches led the sessions in different districts, helping participants find moments of calm amidst their busy schedules. Notable coaches included Dr. Rajan Salalia (Jammu), Bhagwati Prasad (Kathua), Ravinder Mansotra (Samba), Shakti Sagar (Samba & Jammu), Sunil Sharma (Udhampur), Ritvik Mahajan (Kishtwar), and Anuja Jasrotia (Rajouri).
Participants shared their positive experiences after the sessions, expressing a profound sense of relaxation and revitalization.
This collaborative effort between JKLSA and the Art of Living has not only highlighted the importance of mental health but also provided practical tools to manage stress and promote a healthier lifestyle. Ajay Kapoor, the State Coordinator of Art of Living Bureau of Communications and Projects for Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh Chapter, expressed his satisfaction with the initiative’s impact.
