Early Times Report Jammu Jan,27 The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) condoled the death of Smt. Misra Begum wife of Choudhary Abdul Gani a veteran Gujjar leader from Mendhar- Poonch who expired early this morning. She was 98 years old. President PCC and Union Minister for Water Resources Prof. Saif Ud Din Soz has deeply condoled the demise of Misra Begum and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family including her son Choudhary Zaffar Ullah, generally secretary of the Pradesh Congress Committee. Senior PCC leaders in a condolence meeting expressed deep shock over the demise of Misra Begum, and recalled her as a gentle soft spoken lady who inspired her son Zaffar Ullah to devote himself for the service of people of downtrodden and poor sections of the society. Those who condoled the death included Dharam Pal Sharma, Amrit Malhotra, Th. Hari Singh, Yash Pal Khajuria, S. Gurmukh Singh, Haider Sheikh, S. Parduman singh, Ravinder Sharma, Vinod Sharma, S. Amlok Singh, Ch. Shah Mohd, Gulam Mohd, Saroori-MLA, Vinod Mishra, Krishan Lal Gupta, Maheshwar Singh, Krishan Chand Bhagat- MLA, Mehrajuddin Zargar, Bharat Gandhi, Hakum Chand Sharma, Naresh Gupta, Hanif Shah, S. Rajinder Singh, Raval Mattoo, Th. Kamal Singh, Prem Lata Bakshi and others. Former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad also condoled the death of Misra Begum and conveyed his heartfelt sympathies and prayed for peace to the departed soul in heaven. Ch. Mohd. Aslam and Member Parliament Sh. Madan Lal Sharma have also condoled the death of Smt. Misra Begum.
