Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 9: Senior Congress leader Adv. Suresh Dogra, also the Chairman of the OBC Department in JKPCC and a Member of AICC, along with his team, paid a visit to Ward No. 19 in Jammu East, responding to the residents’ call to address their concerns. Accompanied by the Ward’s President, Ajay Dogra, the team engaged with the local community to understand their issues.
During the visit, the residents, including elderly men and women, voiced their concerns to Adv. Suresh Dogra. They discussed the challenges faced by the Ward, seeking prompt solutions. One of the major concerns highlighted was the presence of a concrete garbage store within the residential area, emitting a foul smell and posing health risks, akin to a potential Covid-19 outbreak. The residents also brought to the forefront the problem of unsystematic sewage work, causing flooding in their houses due to a lack of proper drainage.
Adv. Suresh Dogra patiently listened to the grievances of the residents and received a memorandum detailing their concerns. He assured them that he would bring these issues to the attention of the relevant authorities for swift redressal. Moreover, he conveyed that if there is any negligence or failure on the part of the administration, he and his team are prepared to take a stand and raise their voices against it, even if it requires agitating against the LG administration.
Expressing his gratitude, Adv. Suresh Dogra thanked his companions for their support and extended a special acknowledgment to Ajay Kumar for his trust in the Congress party. The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Raj Kumar Mehra, Darshan Verma, Pawan Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, Sunny Kashyap, and Ravi Kumar.
As Adv. Suresh Dogra lends his ear to the people’s grievances and assures them of action, his visit exemplifies his commitment to addressing the concerns of the community and advocating for their well-being.
