R. S. Pura, Aug 9: As the grand culmination of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), the Boys Cadet of 2 J&K Boys Bn. NCC, Jammu at Government Degree College (GDC) R. S. Pura, conducted a momentous Panch Pran Pledge event. Under the esteemed patronage of Dr. Rajni Bhagat, Principal of GDC R. S. Pura, and the attentive supervision of Lt. Rakesh Chowdhary ANO, Boys NCC, the event was a powerful declaration of commitment to a stronger, developed India. The Boys Cadet, alongside the Principal, dedicated faculty members, and ANO, unitedly pledged to embrace a law-abiding demeanor that is aimed at building a robust and prosperous nation. The event was an integral part of the Meri Mati Mera Desh Campaign, a nationwide initiative launched by the Government of India. This campaign resonates with the college’s commitment to instill patriotic values and foster a sense of responsibility towards the nation’s growth. During the event, the Principal of the college engaged with the cadets, inspiring them to tread the path of patriotism and contribute to building a harmonious and culturally diverse nation, firmly anchored in the principle of “unity in diversity.”
Faculty members including Prof. Balwan Singh, Dr. Anuradha, Dr. Balwinder Kaur, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, and Lt. Rakesh Chowdhary were also present on the occasion, exemplifying their support for this noble cause.
As the AKAM culminated with this impactful Panch Pran Pledge event, GDC R. S. Pura reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing patriotic ideals and fostering a strong and united India.
