Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 13: The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, under the gracious blessings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudhiksha Ji Maharaj, orchestrated a blood donation camp at the Pounichak branch (Zone 1- Jammu). The event saw fervent participation from devotees across all age groups, resulting in the donation of an impressive 72 units of blood.
The camp's inauguration was graced by the presence of the esteemed Mayor of Jammu, Rajinder Kumar Sharma. In his address, he lauded the tireless efforts of the Sant Nirankari Mission in organizing regular blood donation camps. He highlighted the Mission's role in creating an atmosphere of love, peace, and unity, fostering harmony within society and promoting happiness among its members. He expressed his admiration for the universal brotherhood message propagated by the Mission and congratulated all blood donors for their altruistic contributions to humanity.
Ajit Singh, the Zonal Incharge for Jammu, emphasized that the Mission's commitment to blood donation spans over three decades, with the first camp organized in 1986. This enduring tradition stems from the teaching of Baba Hardev Singh Ji, advocating that "blood should flow in veins, not in drains." The Sant Nirankari Mission has contributed over 1,275,000 units of blood to date, conducting nearly 500 blood donation camps annually across India. Ajit Singh also highlighted the Mission's diverse socio-economic-spiritual initiatives.
The event garnered the presence of esteemed individuals including Dr. Mohsin and Dr. Anu Radha from the Blood Bank at GMC Jammu, Gian Chand Khetriya Sanchalak Jammu, Kewal Krishan Sanchalak Pounichak, and several senior citizens and societal influencers. The camp was held in collaboration with the Blood & Transfusion Department of the Govt. Medical College Jammu and JKSACS.
The Sant Nirankari Mission's blood donation camp at the Pounichak branch serves as a testament to their unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and their dedication to propagating a spirit of unity, love, and benevolence. Through such noble endeavors, the Mission continues to make a positive impact on both individuals and communities at large.
