JAMMU, Aug 13: As a resounding tribute to the unwavering commitment and supreme sacrifices of our martyrs, former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta spearheaded a series of impactful initiatives in Jammu as part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
In a poignant gesture, Kavinder Gupta led a cleaning drive at the statue of Shaheed Subedar Major Nain Singh in Shaheed Nain Singh Park, Sector E Sainik Colony, Jammu. Addressing the gathering, he underscored the pivotal role that commemorative events play in instilling patriotism among the youth while preserving the valorous tales of our brave soldiers. Gupta emphasized, "Our martyrs' sacrifices shine as a beacon of inspiration for generations to come. Their dedicated service to the nation remains etched in our hearts forever."
The event also saw Kavinder Gupta and Corporator Narinder Singh Bunty felicitating Veer Nari Raj Kumari, the wife of the revered Martyr Subedar Major Nain Singh. This touching tribute further underscored the profound respect for the families of our martyrs.
Taking the spirit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to the grassroots level, Kavinder Gupta led a plantation drive in Ward No. 20, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local leaders, residents, and students, reinforcing the community's commitment to a greener, sustainable future.
In a significant stride towards infrastructural development, Kavinder Gupta, along with local leaders, initiated a lane and drain construction project in Mohalla Paroli within Ward No. 51 Channi Himmat, Jammu.
