JAMMU, Aug 14: In a significant meeting between Mr. Rajinder Sharma, the Honorable Mayor of Jammu, and Mr. Sunil Parchha, Jammu Metropolitan Organizer of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, discussions were held at the Veer Bhavan office regarding government policies related to employment schemes and small-scale industries. The Jammu Municipal Corporation administration and Swadeshi Jagran Manch explored avenues for collaboration and cooperation in promoting employment opportunities and supporting small-scale industries in the region.
During the meeting, Mayor Rajinder Sharma elaborated on forthcoming plans and initiatives.
He expressed his commitment to work closely with Swadeshi Jagran Manch in achieving common goals. Swadeshi Jagran Manch's Metropolitan Convener, Mr. Ravi Dogra, also highlighted the changing mindset among the country's youth due to the "self-reliant India" campaign. He emphasized the growing trend of young individuals aspiring to become job providers rather than job seekers, leading to an increase in new startups and unicorn companies across the nation.
Dogra further discussed the efforts of Swadeshi Jagran Manch's Jammu District in establishing employment generation centers that aim to facilitate public access to various government schemes. He conveyed optimism about the realization of a poverty-free, employment-rich India in the near future, with Jammu and Kashmir poised to play a pivotal role in this transformation.
The meeting highlighted the alignment of goals and visions between the Jammu Municipal Corporation and Swadeshi Jagran Manch in their efforts to empower the youth, promote self-reliance, and stimulate economic growth through small-scale industries and entrepreneurship.
